2010 Contest

SunWise is again teaming up with the SHADE Foundation of America and WeatherBug Schools to put on the 2010 SunWise with SHADE Poster Contest in all 50 states and territories. More than 80,000 students have participated in the contest since it began seven years ago. Their original, creative posters have suggested ways to prevent skin cancer and raise sun safety awareness. Examples of prevention and awareness tips presented on the posters include:

New this year, contest entries will be judged in two categories: kindergarten through third grade, and fourth through eighth grade.  Entries should be on an 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper and be attached to an official entry form (available at http://www.shadefoundation.org/programs/poster-contest Exit EPA Disclaimer). In addition to state prizes, national prizes* this year will include:
